Vice President of Sales – US

Job Description

Aquila Clouds is seeking a highly driven, strategic, and experienced Vice President of Sales – US to lead our expansion and revenue growth across the North American region. This is a key leadership role focused on building the US sales function, driving new business, and scaling revenue by positioning Aquila Clouds’ FinOps and BillOps platforms to enterprises, cloud resellers, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with a strong background in cloud technologies, financial management platforms, or related enterprise solutions. You will be responsible for defining the go-to-market strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales team, developing strategic partnerships, and closing high-impact deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive US sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives. 

  • Identify, target, and engage enterprise customers, MSPs, and cloud resellers. 

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing US sales team. 

  • Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles—from prospecting to negotiation to closure. 

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

  • Provide detailed sales forecasting, reporting, and market feedback to executive leadership. 

  • Represent Aquila Clouds at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, including 5+ years in a sales leadership role. 

  • Proven success in selling cloud platforms, financial solutions, or enterprise IT products in the US market. 

  • Deep understanding of cloud services, MSP/reseller ecosystems, and/or FinOps concepts. 

  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with a track record of exceeding sales targets. 

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills. 

  • Experience working in high-growth environments or startups is a plus.
