Job Description
Aquila Clouds is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager with deep cloud expertise to lead the evolution of our AI-powered FinOps and BillOps platforms. In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll drive product innovation that simplifies cloud billing, governance, and financial accountability for MSPs, cloud resellers, and enterprises.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and customer teams to define scalable, secure, and intelligent features. This is a highly technical product role that requires hands-on experience with public cloud services, APIs, billing systems, and a deep understanding of FinOps principles. Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical roadmap for core product areas like usage ingestion, billing reconciliation, cost reporting, and AI integrations.
- Translate FinOps and cloud billing requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure architecture scalability and performance.
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to understand technical pain points and co-create solutions.
- Stay updated on developments in AWS, Azure, GCP billing APIs, pricing models, and FinOps best practices.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales teams with product knowledge, demos, and roadmap sessions.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in product management or technical product roles in the cloud, FinOps, or infrastructure software space.
- Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP services, billing APIs, and pricing models.
- Experience building B2B SaaS or platform products with strong backend/data infrastructure components.
- Proven success delivering features that support multi-tenant architectures, billing logic, or usage-based pricing.
- Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams and write technical product specs.
- Bonus: Experience in AI/ML product integrations, FinOps Foundation certification, or cloud cost tooling (e.g., CloudHealth, Apptio, etc.).
