Job Description
Aquila Clouds is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Vice President of Sales – India to lead business growth across the Indian subcontinent. This senior leadership role is pivotal in accelerating our regional presence, acquiring new enterprise customers, and expanding partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and cloud resellers.
You will be responsible for building and scaling the India sales team, owning the go-to-market strategy, and driving high-value engagements across key verticals. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in selling cloud technologies or financial platforms, a proven leadership track record, and a strong network within India’s tech and service provider ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the India sales strategy to drive revenue and market share.

Identify and close high-value deals with enterprises, cloud resellers, and MSPs.

Build, lead, and mentor a results-driven regional sales team.

Establish strong channel partnerships and collaborate on joint go-to-market efforts.

Engage directly with senior decision-makers to promote Aquila Clouds’ BillOps and FinOps solutions.

Deliver accurate forecasts, market insights, and growth reports to executive leadership.

Represent Aquila Clouds at regional industry events, forums, and conferences.
Requirements

10+ years of enterprise sales experience in India, including 4–5 years in a leadership role.

Proven success in selling cloud platforms, SaaS, IT infrastructure, or financial technology solutions.

Strong understanding of cloud billing, MSP business models, and FinOps practices.

Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.

Experience working with fast-growth or startup environments is a strong plus.
