Job Description
Aquila Clouds is seeking a skilled and customer-centric Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) – India to support our sales team in driving successful technical engagements with prospects and partners. As the key technical advisor and product expert during the sales cycle, you will help demonstrate the value of Aquila Clouds’ BillOps and FinOps platforms to enterprise customers, MSPs, and cloud resellers.
This role requires a strong understanding of cloud billing, FinOps practices, and enterprise IT environments. You will work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver impactful product demos, lead technical discussions, and ensure smooth solution alignment to client needs.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical resource during the sales process, partnering with the sales team to win new business.

Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions tailored to customer use cases.

Translate customer requirements into solution proposals using Aquila Clouds’ BillOps and FinOps platforms.

Provide expert guidance on integration, deployment, and cloud billing best practices.

Respond to RFPs, technical queries, and solution architecture discussions.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback from the field.

Support onboarding handovers to ensure smooth customer transitions post-sale.
Requirements

3–6 years in a Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, or Solution Consulting role, ideally in cloud, billing, or FinOps domains.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), billing structures, and FinOps concepts.

Proven ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience supporting enterprise sales teams in B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or IT solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with MSP operations or multi-cloud billing scenarios is a strong plus.
